I was led back to a time when I was new to a job, and I didn’t yet possess the skills to even be independently operational in my day-to-day responsibilities. I remember the grueling effort to learn the analytical and technical demands of my role. As I thrust into leadership roles myself, I recognize how I’ve evolved throughout my life. I will always be a work in progress when it comes to developing effective leadership skills. Trusting In Him

I’m in the ICU, and alarms are ringing, there is beeping coming from all the monitors, I’m surrounded by unfamiliar faces, in an unfamiliar environment. There are four doctors, a physician’s assistant, two pharmacists, two respiratory therapists, and three nurses, standing in a half circle in front of me. They are all waiting for me, staring at me, or so it feels, and my heart feels like it’s going to beat out of my chest. Read more…
