I still always chuckle when I hear that old saying, “As long as there are tests, there will be prayer in schools.” Of course, this joke is aimed at poking fun at the often misunderstood “separation of church and state” practice, which many uses to keep prayer out of our public school system. I aim to have a strong prayer life. I want to learn how to navigate prayer as a potent spiritual tool in a believer’s arsenal. Sometimes I find myself absolutely clueless on how to proceed in making an important decision. I tend to prolong the process to ensure I’m making the right choice.
