Routinary or Necessary?

A lot of times, I mentally summarize a sermon or a Christian radio broadcast. The common bottom line is to pray and read the Bible. Both are effective ways to grow spiritually, they say. It’s ingrained in my mind just like the song. “Read your Bible, pray every day, pray every day.”


Full Circle

A few days ago, my eldest sister texted me a picture from a long time ago. It was an image of the two of us on her wedding day fifteen years ago. As I reminisce, I thought about the events of that day. The sharply dressed wedding entourage, the many people that attended, and the good times we had with family and friends. But most of all I thought about how different things are now. Not only did we change physically, but also our lives are completely different.
