When busyness fills in our schedules, we just do do do, like machines that don’t know how to deviate from the programmed setting. Our depleting attention span makes it a challenge to fitly sift new information. So if we’re not careful, we give ourselves over to more trivialities that percolate curiosity and take up space mentally.

Serving and Sharing Through Music

 

Before going on my first mission trip, I heard that a volcano had erupted in Guatemala. Many were killed, injured, or missing. Although I was worried and unsure about the unknown, all I could think of was to pray with my life group for the people in Guatemala as well as for my CTI team. Every day I come across all sort of leaders, each with their own leadership style. I can tell apart the good and the bad. As I thrust into leadership roles myself, I recognize how I’ve evolved throughout my life. I will always be a work in progress when it comes to developing effective leadership skills.
